CURRENT GUIDELINES

july 19th 2021 onwards

We have now moved, under government advice, to the next step
of unlocking. Masks have become a personal choice rather than
being law and the social distancing, we have all become used to,
is longer be a requirement.
Whilst we cannot enforce it, we'd prefer if people used the
government QR code to check in when they arrive. 

 

We will continue our current policy of extra cleaning and sanitising throughout the day and will still provide sanitising stations, to ensure
that we are still doing our best to keep you safe. 

You can expect our team to take this step with courtesy
and respect for others. We will not be enforcing the use of masks
to enter once we do not have to.

 

We do, however respect your right to wear one should this make
you feel more comfortable.

 

We will not be forcing our staff to wear masks either but will
respect their decision to do so should they wish and we would
ask that you do the same.

 sunday carvery

You will be invited up to the Carvery one table at a time to avoid any queuing
however you can now serve yourself as it always used to be. Please ensure you sanitise your hands before handling anything on the carvery

 

As always we'll have  5 different meats to choose from

Beef Topside, Leg of Lamb, Breast of Turkey, Leg of Pork and Gammon Ham although all are subject to availability. To accompany these we serve homemade Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and honey roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, at least seven other vegetables, rich gravy and every sauce you could wish for.
Our meats are sourced as locally as possible through our butcher R Aldens of Osney Mead, Oxford and all our vegetables come direct from Mick Baskerville, fruit and vegetable supplier in Radley near Abingdon

Carvery is priced at £15.95 for Adults and £7.95 for Juniors Under 12

 

We always recommend booking as often we can be very busy

 

We will also be continuing our takeaway service (£13.00 per head).
