We are an independent family run pub in the heart
of Oxfordshire serving freshly cooked food and a great range of ales and drinks
Our menu changes daily so always keep an eye on the FOOD page to see what's on our ever evolving menu
ABOUT US
SUNDAY CARVERY
As always we'll have 5 different meats to choose from Beef Topside, Leg of Lamb, Breast of Turkey, Leg of Pork and Gammon Ham although all are subject to availability. To accompany these we serve homemade Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and honey roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, at least seven other vegetables, rich gravy and every sauce you could wish for.
We also serve a pumpkin seed and chestnut vegan roast.
Please ensure you order this with your server and we'll have it ready for your visit to the carvery
Carvery is priced at £20.95 for Adults
and £12.50 for Juniors Under 12
We always recommend booking as often we can be very busy.
Bookings are at 12.00/12.30pm then 2.00/2.30pm then 4/4.30pm and now 6/6.30pm
We close at 8pm. We ask that you respect this.
We also offer a more limited version of our a la carte menu
alongside our carvery every Sunday

“The Merry Miller is one of the last bastion’s of English country pub’s at their finest! Incredible staff that make you feel like the only guests in the place. Beautiful food across the board! Tiramisu Cheesecake was spectacular! Excellent wine list! We are eagerly waiting a free table to come and sample one of the famous carvery’s! If we lived nearer we would be in here every afternoon!.”

A superb evening, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and superb food. Normally going out for valentines feels like a production line service but not here, the decorations were an added extra and it didn’t feel crammed in. Tasty starters but the main (steak sharing platter) was a real highlight so tasty we ate it all!! Then the cheesecake for dessert finished a perfect evening. We will definitely be going back, delighted to find a gem of a pub so locally.
